Amrit Singh has been studying and practicing acupuncture for ten years. She began her journey by completing a Diploma of Acupuncture at the Institute of Traditional Medicine in Toronto, after which she extended her studies in Beijing, Tokyo, San Francisco, New York and London, UK.

Amrit apprenticed with Takamasa Tsurusaki R.Ac, an internationally recognized Acupuncturist & Educator of the famous Kiiko Matsumoto style. Through this apprenticeship, Amrit honed her abilities in a style of Acupuncture known for its precise diagnosis, gentle needling techniques and its blending of western medical principles with eastern ideologies for quick and effective results. 

Often referred to as “The Bay St Acupuncturist”, Amrit has been helping patients be their best and achieve their personal health goals in Toronto’s Financial District and has now joined the team at Whole Life Balance. She has helped her patients with numerous health conditions from pain, fertility and women’s health, skin problems, allergies, weight loss, digestive problems and more.

Amrit also completed The Acupuncture Sports Medicine Apprenticeship program in the U.S. with Whitfield Reaves, a top Sports Acupuncturist, and has studied Cosmetic Acupuncture and Facial Rejuvenation internationally in Japan and the U.K.

She enjoys working with her patients on all levels, from making lifestyle and nutritional recommendations to answering her patient’s questions during treatments. “I want my patients to feel comfortable and have an understanding of what is occurring with their body and why.  I truly believe this is an important step towards better health.”

Amrit is a fully insured, Registered Acupuncturist with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO) and is certified in Clean Needle Technique. She is also an Instructor teaching a number of courses on Acupuncture techniques, Cosmetic Acupuncture & Practice Management in Toronto.
