Taylor Weir is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with an advanced diploma in Massage Therapy, which she received from Humber College and has been practicing Massage therapy for three years. Taylor has been involved in sports most of her life playing women’s rep soccer at a competitive level for almost 10 years. while Participating in various sports Taylor developed an interest for health and wellness, which lead her to pursue a career in Massage Therapy. Being an athlete herself Taylor feels she has a better understanding of athletic related injuries, and she enjoys working closely with athletes to develop effective treatment plans that will help them get back into the game. She incorporates a variety of techniques into treatment such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, sports massage, trigger point therapy, and PNF stretching. Taylor also has experience working with and treating a variety of people and conditions including athletes, neurological conditions, pregnancy, chronic pain, patients in palliative care and more. Taylor continues to further her education and develop her skills as a massage therapist by taking courses that help enhance her treatments. She is also trained in cupping therapy as well as the application of KT tape, which she incorporates into her practice.
