Christopher has a very diverse background as both a triple threat performer and a development professional. He is a graduate of theatre and drama studies with University of Toronto and the triple threat musical theatre program at Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts. As a retired professional performer and with over ten years of progressively senior roles within the not-for-profit sector and raising over $25 million during his career, Christopher is delighted to be part of the wellness team at Whole Life Balance.
Christopher’s roles thrive on superb sales and negotiation skills and the ability to expertly build and manage relationships with donors, sponsors, partners and prospects. Prior to joining the team at Whole Life Balance he made a positive impact at Young People’s Theatre in the role of Senior Manager, Development and previously enjoyed three years of success as the National Manager of Sponsorship and Fund Development for Junior Achievement of Canada. He serves as the Vice President of Fundraising on the board of the Liberal Party of Canada – Spadina-Fort York Federal Liberal Riding Association, and as consultant/board director for multiple acclaimed health and arts/theatre organizations across North America.
Chris has an extremely strong passion for arts and culture and has held numerous roles both on and off stage with prestigious companies all over North America such as Mirvish Productions, National Ballet of Canada, Canadian Opera Company, Cirque Du Soleil, New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, Washington Ballet, Art Gallery of Ontario, Royal Ontario Museum and Harbourfront Centre.
He’s a philanthropist, foodie, vocal coach, choreographer, piano guy and an avid theatre goer.
